Liturgy at the Basilica

The Source and Summit of Christian Life

St. John's parish seeks to be a model of renewed liturgy and a place of prayer for all who visit.

The Sacraments, especially the Eucharist, occupy a central role in the liturgical activity of the Basilica family.  Through the public worship of the Church, visitors throughout the country (and lately the world), experience the presence of God in a profound way.

The worship of God truly forms the source and summit of the Church's life and the mission of the Basilica of St. John.
