The Basilica of St. John invites
all parishioners and friends to become supporters of The Basilica
of St. John Foundation.
Your gift to the Foundation can be a way to demonstrate
your thanks for God's many blessings or express appreciation
for the ways that this parish has touched your life. It is
also
an opportunity to commemorate loved ones, living or deceased.
Gifts of any amount are welcome. All contributions are acknowledged in writing and all donors are remembered in daily masses.
Benefactor members are those who contribute $500 or more to the Foundation.
Those who contribute at this level can specify a name to be engraved
on the Foundation plaque to be mounted in a place determined at a later
date.
Donors who give an amount up to $500 become Associate Members
of the Foundation.

to the Foundation, you may want to consult a financial planner, who
can explain the financial and tax benefits of planned, charitable giving
through stocks, bonds, bequests, and insurance policies.
The Basilica of St. John Foundation was established to make it
possible to plan for future needs of the parish. Thanks to several
generous gifts from parishioners/benefactors totaling $234,396,
the endowment fund has grown to a current value of $501,969.
On
April 14, 2004, our parish created The Basilica of St. John Foundation
to secure the future to the parish, its buildings and its grounds.
The goals established for the Foundation are to:
An endowment fund or one million dollars in conservative investments could generate $30,000 to $50,000 per year in income for the parish. A contribution to the Endowment Fund is a permanent gift that will provide income and support for The Basilica of St. John community for years to come.
