Dear Fellow Seeker of God:
There are many forms of Protestant religions, too many to answer the question above in an easy or quick way.
On the other hand, it is very easy to discover what the Catholic Church believes in. It is a timeless religion handed down to us from Saint Peter, the first Pope, and the Church Fathers through apostolic succession. Would you like to learn more about what Catholics believe? The Basilica of Saint John provides you with a wonderful way to learn while you make new friends. It is called The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA).
I’m amazed at the misperceptions in the media, in the culture, and even in Protestant Churches about Catholicism. We would love to tell you more about the beauty of the Catholic Church, about its Sacraments and rituals. There is a reason to believe. We have an exciting story to tell! To our Catholic brothers and sisters who have been away, make the journey home. Call me at 515-244-3101 to learn more. I look forward to talking to you soon.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Aquinas M. Nichols
P.S. I highly recommend the book, "Rome Sweet Home: Our Journey to Catholicism", by Scott and Kimberly Hahn. Give me a call and I will be happy to suggest some other excellent resources.
